It started as a joke amongst friends and family. A few of us skied together everyday and self proclaimed ourselves a ‘crew,’ though at the time we didn’t have a name. The origins of the term Shred Head is mostly lost to history. When asked of the origins, the responses vary from “I don’t know” to “I think it was my mom’s idea” to “It was probably me. I’ll take the credit, I’m the only creative one in the group.”
We don’t have a mission, credo, or goal. What we do… do, is ski as much as possible in as many places as possible. We don’t compete, we don’t film, we don’t shoot (but if you’d like to change this we can probably work something out), we just ski.
For this winter, we’ve partnered with what we think are some of the coolest brands and groups in the ski world. With their help, we’ll be traveling throughout the west, shredding all sorts of awesome stuff along the way and generally having a radical time. If you see us out there give us a holler.
